Undertaker Injured

In no way is this a target.

This is what happens when you don’t give The Undertaker his customary four-month vacation between WrestleMania and Summerslam. According to ProWrestling.net, The Undertaker was injured during his match with Rey Mysterio and now he is questionable for Fatal Four Way later this month. How many years has Undertaker taken time off? I am figuring 237. So WWE makes the decision to pull almost all of the main event talent from Smackdown and force him back. Well, look who has to pay the piper now.

The Undertaker has about two years left in him at this point, so the vacations are pretty much necessary. By pushing him back on the show they have probably lost him for who knows how long. Sure it is just an orbital bone injury but…oh wait, that is a rather significant injury. He may try and pull out the facial structure/prosthesis (depending on who you ask) and make a go of it but at this point in his career and retirement probably in the not too far distance, why risk it? There is no shame in sitting out, especially if it means getting your vacation time back.

The real issue is that Smackdown is bare bones right now for main event talent. They got Jack Swagger and Big Show and Raw got Edge and Chris Jericho. Oh, and Smackdown also didn’t get Randy Orton, because, you know, that would have made sense. Sorry, I forgot Smackdown had Drew McIntyre and Matt Hardy, that makes it all better. -Jeremy

I just looked it up on Scott Keith’s old show reviews, and I stand corrected. It was “facial appliance,” a phrase Vince uttered no less than 14 times at the Royal Rumble…

At least Mable didn’t sit on his face this time.
