Master thief steals only $50,000 from WWE.

Master thief

Look it is a slow news day. How can you tell? Well this inane story is getting a mention. Some thing, supposedly a man, stole $50,000 from WWE. From Newstimes.com, James Dewayne Bass (Not Nicole Bass), who also goes by Kelly Monique is the culprit.

James Dewayne Bass, also known as Kelly Monique, 34, of Prospect, Tenn., was charged with first-degree larceny and four counts of second-degree forgery.

The suspect is being held in lieu of $35,000 bond and was to be arraigned at state Superior Court in Stamford on Thursday.

The bail on this seems rather small considering it stole $50,000. Shouldn’t it just be able to say, “I got this.” Toss down a wad of cash and trounce on out? The article says it bought a bunch of goods over the Internet and phone but there is no way it spent all $50,000. At least I would hope not.

The real story here is the fact WWE found that they were missing $50,000. A company that rakes in millions a year and some book nerd discovered such a small amount was missing? This person deserves a raise immediately. They saved WWE what amounts to a downside guarantee for Camacho and that frugal work should not go unnoticed. -Jeremy
