SG Poll: Who should take over booking for TNA?

With the rumors swirling like shit down a toilet bowl (that, also, was a metaphor) about Jeff Jarrett’s future in TNA, the question of who will take over booking duties also has risen. In a response to Jason Powell’s blog on Prowrestling.net, Paul Heyman pretty flatly said he would not accept that job should it be offered to him. So to whom SHOULD Dixie Carter offer the unenviable task of booking TNA? Select from the options above, and please leave a comment explaining your choice!

I chose Stunt Granny, as it’s the least laughable choice. Well, next to Jim Cornette, but I’d like to see a real fan (i.e. a member of the target audience) get to steer the ship. You guys certainly couldn’t do worse than Jarrett & Co. so far…

This to me is potentially the most exciting thing to happen in wrestling in ten years, it could possibly mean a second promotion that is worth watching. I chose Cornette, although Heyman would be the most exciting. Just so long as Russo and Jarrett are out, I’ll actually watch a few episodes of Impact.

I’d love to see what Stunt Granny would do w/ TNA. Watching Dusty work the gorilla position w/ Terry Taylor would be reality show worthy.

Went with Nash for the sake of a Big Lazy Title run and the end of TNA so a promotion without a bunch of fuck-ups running it can try to start up and succeed.

Stunt Granny Crew along with Jordan Smith AKA Big Round Wizard. Bring some sense to Wresting in TNA. But right now, anything is better then what TNA has now.

But with TNA, when you’ve got a low standard, they find a way to make them lower.
