Outside The Bubble – ROH Review – 29 Nov. ’17

Saved from NathanRouse.org who is a Pastor. It’s called Praying Outside the Bubble. No Photo Credit Given.

They started off with a Bullet Club promo primarily by Marty Scrull. They’re ready for a tag match tonight. I like Scrull’s delivery but there wasn’t much to it.

Silas Young w/ The Beer City Bruiser is taking on Jonathon Gresham with Kenny King at the announce desk.Young & Gresham work a slow but fun start to the match. Odd to see from two guys who are serious. Bruiser helped turn things around during the break. It was still back and forth for much of the match though. Bruiser kept on interfering until Gresham took him out after the third attempt. Gersham takes too long on the top rope. 4th interference did the trick. Misery (TKO) for the win by Young. He just beat Jay Lethal in a best of 3 series. He wasn’t losing against an up and comer.

The Kingdom is getting screwed by the man. They want ROH gold. They will start by taking the Tag Team Championships from the Motor City Machine Guns. Another group of guys I like. Not their best work though.

War Machine was supposed to have a match but they got jumped by Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian. Raymond Rowed ended up lawn darting Kaz into a “fan” at ring side.

I’ve enjoyed the Coleman’s Pulpit. It’s has cheesy production but it’s better than what ROH had been churning out. Caprice Coleman was an active preacher so it works well for him to be in that environment. You could tell he had that influence even before he started this gimmick. He tells guest Kenny King that he’s using his daughter to get sympathy. King freaks out on him.

Marty Scrull was joined by Adam Page & The Young Bucks. Jay Lethal is in the announce booth. Cody Rhodes gets the mic before the match. He is bitching about Dalton Castle. Flip Gordon is leader of a group of new wrestlers taking on the Bullet Club. Scrull started off against LSG. Rhodes gets tossed when he tries to interfere. It’s still not a competitive match. Scorpio Sky is another one of the young contestants. Gordon kept nipping up when Nick Jackson was going for a super kick. Page gets in and drop kicks someone then into a (standing?) senton. Impressive. Page then moonsaults onto LSG Scorpio Sky. The Bucks dive onto all of the faces. Scrull gets super kicked going for a dive. Gordon the hesitation flips onto the crowd outside. Gordon back flips into a tag. They do a Bullet Train of clothes lines in which Scrull repeatedly gets kicked and no one else does. The action gets so out of control I stopped trying to keep up with it. Ali is the name of the fourth “face.” Everyone in this match is crazy athletic except for Scrull, who is still doing great work selling all of these moves. Indy Taker Buster for the Bullett Club win. I enjoy that type of match. It was not a psychology classic though. – Kevin DiFrango
