There’s no chance in hell (cue Vince McMahon’s music) that I’d pass up a chance to make fun of  some of the knick knacks that the WWE sells for WrestleMania.

When you’re in Texas, you’ve got to sell cowboys hats and I’m sure these will be flying off the shelves.  The WrestleMania logo is just applied to the front of the hat.  I will break down the logo at the top of the article and it applies to anything else I cover.  The WWE wanted to high light the Lone Star’s state symbol, the star, so that is the background and largest image.  The text is all centered on the star and the hat so it works out quite well.  I’m not wild about the choice of colors (light blue bordered by dark blue) but it’s not terrible either.  This hat just looks cheap.

Another hat that is on sale is the traditional baseball cap.  As soon as I looked at this hat, I thought about the Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl XL hats.  The center panel is light gray, with a mesh stripe flanking it and a dark gray stripe to border the design.  The bill and remainder of the hat is white.  The Wrestlemania logo is centered as it should be.  I think the logo looks better with the lighter colors.  The main problem that I have with the hat is that white hats get dirty in a hurry.

The last item I will pick on for now (I’ve got to save something for the weekend!) is this women’s t-shirt.  The design is off center but I think it works quite nicely.  The WWE have changed the logo colors to all white which looks good on the dark blue background of the shirt and really makes the design pop.  As everyone knows, diamonds are a girl’s best friend so the cascading design has multiple sizes and views of them.  The floral pattern does a nice job of tieing everything together.  Overall, it’s a very nice shirt for the ladies.  I’d be remiss though if I didn’t note the comments below the shirt like “I love the color!  Awesome graphics!  However, the cut is smaller then intended…order next size up.  Can’t wait to wear it though!” and “This shirt is so cool but it cuts too tight so get 1 size larger than normal.”  No ladies, the size is correct, the WWE just hasn’t figured out that none of their female fans are hot unless they are (im)plants. – Kevin
