From Japanese artist Makaon by way of inhabitat.com
- Taz gave an interview to the Miami Herald an interview since Lockdown, which is a real pay per view that I won’t pay for, is in Miami. Taz said:
The building of characters is a big, big thing creative in TNA is really pushing.
What an obvious statement. It’s their job to build characters hence their name is creative! I will give it to Taz that TNA has come up with some new characters like his examples of Sam Shaw and EC3. Sam Shaw is a truly new character because no one has tried to make Patrick Bates as wrestling character to my knowledge. EC3 is just a recycled gimmick with not an ounce of a new spin on it. Taz also cited MVP and the Wolves as fresh faces. The trio is new to TNA TV but they’re not new characters. Their gimmicks from their previous trips are intact so creative isn’t building jack for them. I shouldn’t say that, creative did drop American from the beginning of their team name. At least Taz didn’t say Willow because that is way too weird for any chumps that TNA employs. Jeff Hardy is the only person creative enough to come up with Willow.
- Because it has been posted everywhere, I feel obligated to mention that Buff Bagwell is now a gigolo. I’m not going to be creative because all of the jokes have already been used by the time of this posting. I’ll just leave the link on here to get a few waning hits. - Kevin

Oops, I think it's upside down...
Holy cow, it’s Dusty and Eric with another Stunt Granny Audio! The boys start off with a random assortment of brilliance, including thoughts on the Warlord, Haystacks Calhoun, Bob Geigel and more. Why are these multi-generational wrestlers on the docket? Also, what did the gents think of certain aspects of TNA Lockdown? How about this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw? Or the current storylines of two shining stars, Mark Henry and Chris Jericho? Also, the former Claudio Castagnoli, now Antonio Cesaro (with a side salad and breadsticks), made his
Smackdown debut oops spoilers with William Regal at his side; what wonderful idea could this lead to (but won’t)? All this and more is a click away!

Dixie Carter just won’t learn. After carrying one PPV, Bound For Glory, in movie theatres they are at it again with this year’s edition of Lockdown. For those of you, like myself, who had no idea Bound For Glory was in movie theatres, this is your opportunity to see TNA in the big screen just as god intended.
Yes you can go watch Christopher Daniels, Robbie E, Kidd Kash, Abyss, Crimson (the bad one), Eric Young and a cast of hundreds all from the comfort of a movie theatre seat. Screenvision has partnered with TNA and if you aren’t familiar with them it is due to the fact they are not Fathom Events to bring the event to movie theatres nationwide. So a second rate wrestling company hooked up with the number two movie event producers to bring us this goodness.
What a colossal waste of cash. UFC tried the 3D movie theatre experience to middling attention. If UFC cannot pull it off what makes anyone, anyone involved in TNA or Impact Wrestling think this is a logical idea to get the name brand out there? Can someone, anyone remove control of this company from this woman? If not someone needs to smack the bad ideas out of her loose-leaf notebook and mutter “Leave the decisions to the men toots” and carry on losing money without her input. See what I did there?
Really though why bother? TNA ratings have shown no real movement for years. There have been no sustainable gains in viewership nor an increase in PPV buys. So why bother? God damn why bother? This is a waste of time, money and talent. I guess that encompasses TNA perfectly actually. - Jeremy

This is basically Abyss.
Good lord. According to Prowrestling.net, Kurt Angle was sentenced today for his March 25 bout of reckless driving in Grand Forks, S.D. Angle was given one year of probation, some fines, and a 10 days in jail, suspended. One year of probation for Kurt “Bi-racial Girlfriend Stalker, Good-Timin’ Pill-Popper” Angle, huh? What’s the over-under on three months?
Also according to Prowrestling.net, Jeff Hardy’s court date (stemming from his Sept. 2009 arrest) has been pushed back yet another month. That’s just 30 more days for him to build another illuminami, do a bunch of meth, and show up in no condition for being alive. Good job, North Carolina court system, you’re practically the pusher on playground. Oh, what’s that? If I sell this to five other kids, I’ll get it for free? I’ll love the way it makes me feel? You’re gonna murder my family if I don’t?
Finally, according to Prowrestling.net, TNA wrestlers came out of the Lockdown PPV and the latest TV tapings with a rash of injuries. As opposed to Karen Jarrett, who usually just comes out of TV tapings with a rash. At the iMPACT! tapings, Rob Van Dam knocked out Abyss’ two front teeth. Awesome, this talentless gore fuck is going to wear that hole in his mouth like a Foley-greenlighted badge of honor. All it does, though, is gett him closer to Balls Mahoney status where he belongs. -Eric

Well as promised but a day late, Kevin and Jeremy return with their exclusive TNA Lockdown 2009 preview. The guys start the show off arguing about ODB and Cody Deanor and it nearly derails the entire show. Kevin loves it; Jeremy hates it and is totally distracted by the low rent antics of Cody. They finally get to the PPV and they both quickly realize they don’t care about the show. It doesn’t matter as the trudge through and talk about all the good matches and spend little time on the bad ones. Yeah, they prejudged it all. So give it a listen. They took the time to record it so take the time to listen.
