Andrew “Test” Martin died of Oxycodone overdose
Can’t get away from the drugs today, I guess: According to the UK Sun by way of Prowrestling.net, the cause of death for Andrew “Test” Martin was “an accidental overdose of Oxycodone.” Not to sound like a dick, but (a version of) that stuff is known as “hillbilly heroin” for a reason. Squeezing the word “accidental” in there doesn’t sound too convincing when talking about a drug that has a nickname, let alone a nickname that looks like Terry Taylor came up with it.
For another angle, pre-cause-of-death-announcement, read this write-up by Mike Mooneyham:

Nice read, lots of people with nice things to say about Martin. I still say one of my favorite matches I saw live was Test vs. Shane McMahon at Summerslam 1999. That doesn’t make this any less surprising. -Eric
He was just testing how many Oxycodone a person can take at one time. He took too many, failed the Test.
I think you misunderstand the use of the term accidental. (Either that or I misunderstand what you were saying.) All this means is that his intention was not to commit suicide when he took these drugs. It’s not trying to pass it off as some sort of strange misuse of prescription drugs or a bad drug combination like they claimed with Heath Ledger when he died.
I think you misunderstand the use of sarcasm, Bender.
I’m sure someone misunderstood the use of Oxycodone at some point.
