A friend who attended the Pro Wrestling Ohio passed along some important news. Justin LaBar of Wrestlezone (I’m not going to link to the site. Let’s just say though that there’s no link to PWO reviews or even PWO news on their site that I can find. Their main headline was “Exclusive: Why the WWE Booked a Major Angle on Smackdown” which obviously referred to Randy Orton winning the World Heavyweight Title. Their conclusion “Randy Orton is going to become the focal point of the Smackdown Brand.” No shit. We figured that out without so much as an interview of anyone back stage for the WWE.) announced that Kevin Nash will be teaming with “Omega” Aaron Draven with LaBar in their corner (At least he’s smart enough not to wrestle) against “Big Rig” Brodie Lee & “The Megastar” Marion Fontaine with Agent Aaron Maguire in their corner. This news is huge for Pro Wrestling Ohio. They have brought in other names (King Kong Bundy, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and Raven although I feel like I’m forgetting one) but no one has been on the Royal Rumble pay per view and on TNA television within the last year like Kevin Nash. Wrestlelution 4 is set to be the biggest yet with this announcement. – Kevin
