– I watched the opening segment with Vince McMahon, HHH, Stephanie McMahon and John Cena and all I could think about is how this segment should have been the beginning or end of Raw. It established that John Cena is the only person who can bring back HHH & Steph should their team lose. The WWE has painted Cena’s team as having no chance so I’m sticking to Team Cena winning.

– Goldust & Stardust defending the WWE Tag Team Titles against Damien Mizdow & The Miz against Los Matadores against The Usos – The Miz & Damien Mizdow are hot currently so they ended up getting the victory. Mizdow waited to tag himself in after The Miz was ready to take advantage of a splash by Jey Uso. Brilliant way to allow Mizdow to make the cheap win. Mizdow ends up acting like it’s okay that The Miz is being the glory hog but that will eventually be their undoing.

– The WWE planned the pay per view so poorly that they need a segment with Adam Rose & the Bunny arguing then challenging Heath Slater & Titus O’Neil to a match.

– Paige & Layla El & Cameron & Summer Rae vs Emma & Natalya & Naomi & Alicia Fox – Emma took the brunt of the offense early from Paige. Cameron tagged in. JBL can’t figure out how to call a split legged leg drop. Naomi gets her claws on Cameron. Layla saves Cameron after a jaw jacker. Naomi eliminates Cameron after a team finisher spot. Naomi gets offense in on Summer Rae. Natalya gets the tag but is met by Summer. My feed buffers so I miss Layla getting eliminated. Emma puts the Tarantula on Summer. Emma-Mite Sandwich. Emma gets Summer to tap out. Paige tries to leave but is brought back by Emma. Natalya gets tagged in. Natalya gives Paige a release German Suplex. Naomi hits the Rear View & another finisher for the win. I’m surprised by the clean sweep. Paige is in the cool off phase.

– I just lost the text that I had typed for Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt because my Pad decided not to update like it should. They had a very good match with a lot of hard hitting. It will be remembered for the poor announcers needing to act stupid and not mention that Tables, Ladders & Chairs is the next PPV which is why Dean Ambrose beat the hell out of Bray Wyatt with those objects. Bray had offered Dean the first shot with a chair which caused a DQ. Dean took the shot unlike John Cena.

– HHH gets to give the General Patton speech. It doesn’t fire me up.

– Adam Rose & The Bunny vs Heath Slater & Titus O’Neil – Rose is reluctant to give the Bunny the start. Rose tags in. He goes on the offense but quickly gets beat down. He has to tag the Bunny who cleans house on Heath Slater. The Bunny rolls up Slater while Rose reaches for the tag back in.

– Roman Reigns says he’ll be back next month. Just in time for the writing to stop sucking. hopefully.

– AJ Lee defending the Divas Title vs Nikki Bella – Brie Bella grabs the Title and jumps onto the apron. She kisses AJ Lee. Nikki forearms AJ Lee. Rack Attack for the Divas Title change. Brie looks excited by this change in events. This story line makes no sense. If they go with the long term “We played you” it’s beyond stupid.

– Team Cena (Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, The Big Show, Erick Rowan & John Cena) vs Team Authority (Rusev, Kane, Mark Henry, Luke Harper & Seth Rollins) – Big Show and Mark Henry jaw at each other. Henry goes for moral support to the corner. He charges Big Show and gets KO Punched. Big Show knocked around Seth Rollins after he got an early jump on Show. Kane tagged in and Big Show still handled him. Cena gets tagged in. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper face off. Seth Rollins tagged in to change the momentum. I had to talk to the Lady so I only watched out of the corner of my eye. They did a nice job of covering for Ryback’s elimination by having him Curb Stomped behind the ref’s back. Rusev got the pin on Ryback though. Big Show ends up getting working over by Team Authority. Dolph Ziggler gets a tag and cleans up on Harper. Luke recovers to boot Ziggler in the grill. Ziggler is in to make people look good. Side slam by Kane gets a two count. Ziggler continued to sell until he hits a DDT on Rusev. After a multi-man spot with mainly finishers, Ziggler gets tossed into everyone not named Rusev. Ziggler gets tossed onto the Spanish announce table by Rusev. He dives from the regular announce table and Ziggler moves. Ziggler gets into the ring before the count. Rusev gets counted out. We all knew that loss wouldn’t be clean. Cena cleans house on Kane but Rollins Curb Stomps Cena to stop the momentum. Rowan and Harper finally go at it. Drive By by Rollins allows Harper to hit the clothes line on Rowan for another elimination. I stopped typing after this elimination to watch the show without interruption. John Cena came in had Big Show KO Punch him. Rollins covered Cena for the elimination. Big Show shook hands with HHH then was eliminated by count out. Dolph Ziggler was left against Kane, Luke Harper & Seth Rollins. Ziggler eliminated Kane first because he’s definitely the jobber of the group. Luke Harper threw the entire arsenal at him but Ziggler kept kicking out. Ziggler rolled up Harper with a hold of his belt for the elimination. Ziggler got several pins on Rollins visually but HHH kept taking out referees. Sting end sup showing up after HHH freaked out and attacked Ziggler. He took out Scott Armstrong and HHH. Sting draped Ziggler over Rollins for the final elimination. Fun main event. It was a mess of a way to push things. We’ll see what they have in store. As usual, I hope it’s a rarely seen authority figure but my hopes will likely be dashed. – Kevin
