The WWE starts us off with the video package of Nia Jax challenging Ronda Rousey in NYC. Roman Reigns is the first one out. Reigns is ready to get a piece of Jinder Mahal. Kurt Angle comes out and informs him that Jinder won’t be coming out. Angle also makes it clear that Reigns is getting no more MITB qualifying chances. Reigns goes back stage and attacks Jinder Mahal. He uses Sunil Singh as a shield to get the jump on Reigns. He doesn’t have the upper hand long. They brawl out to the crowd. Reigns nails him with a Superman Punch. Jinder to slinks away as the agents distract Reigns.

Seth Rollins is taking on Kevin Owens. Booker T calls them “young men” which prompts me to check their ages (31 & 34 respectively.) Closer to right than normal. Rollins goes for a suicide dive but Owens catches him. Owens then tosses him into the ring post. Rollins made a back body drop out of the ring look extra vicious. Rollins executes a Falcon Arrow on the apron looked vicious too. Rollins connects on the next set of suicide dives. A DDT by Owens changes the momentum. They trade big moves ending with an Owens clothes line. Owens goes for a senton but Rollins gets his knees up. Revolution Knee only gets Rollins a two count. Owens gets the knees up on a frog splash. Owens gives Rollins a top rope fisherman buster. Rollins rolls out of the ring. Owens rolls Rollins back into the ring. Rollins Stomps KO as he enters the ring.

They show the whole segment of Nia Jax & Ronda Rousey. Charlotte Flair wooes with Rousey. Jax comes in and makes the challenge, kind of being a bully about it. Rousey admits that other people should get the shot first. Jax pushes the issue though. It got super weird when all three of them left the segment all chummy.

No Way Jose, Baron Corbin and Bobby Roode battle for a spot in Money in the Bank. Corbin side slams Roode for the first believable? pin fall. Jose really showing some fire. He is bigger than most these days so he stands out. Roode clothes lines Jose off the top rope. Corbin takes out Roode outside the ring. Corbin gets a two count on the choke slam back breaker. Corbin Deep Sixes Roode. Jose breaks up the pin attempt. Corbin runs himself into the post. Roode give Jose a Glorious DDT for the win. Three spots reamin for the Men’s MITB match.

Kevin Owens begs Angle to get another shot at Seth Rollins. Angle is tired of his threats. Owens promises to call Stephanie. Angle is right, he straight up lost. No reason for a re-match. Jinder Mahal is informed by Angle that it’s “Best for Business” that he still wrestler in his qualifying MITB match.

The B Team, Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel, is taking on Breezango, Tyler Breeze & Fandango. The match is spent making fun of Dallas & Axel. Super Neck Breaker by The B Team for the win. Good for them? They’re flabeber gasted at the win too. They are also pumped. Could be an interesting story.

Ember Moon, Sasha Banks & Natalya are taking on the Riott Squad, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan. Michael Cole & Corey Graves do something to cover the whole “Why are they together?” conundrum of the Riott Squad. They just click isn’t much of a reason but it’s better than before. The Squad works over Banks. Morgan gets too preoccupied with Moon & Natalya. Meteora by Banks to the outside takes out Logan. Moon suicide dives onto Riott. Natalya taps out Morgan to the Sharpshooter.

Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler are mad at Finn Balor because of his flashy entrance and at Braun Strowman because of dumb antics like flipping vehicles. They kind of got something out of terrible reasoning.

The Revival, Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder, are taking the Deleters of the World, Bray Wyatt & Matt Hardy. The whole “Compliment an opponents move then have a standing ovation is weird and awesome. The majority of the crowd stood and clapped. Wyatt giving Dawson a Urinogi is the first big move of the match. It is followed quickly with the Kiss of Deletion for the win.

Bayley runs into Sasha Banks back stage. Banks wishes her luck.

Sami Zayn is mad at Bobby Lashley for debuting the same night on Raw as himself. He goes back to his case of vertigo. It’s cost him a spot in the Greatest Royal Rumble. He’s mad about the sit down interview too. He got the sister’s to spill the beans on Lashley’s bad side.

Alexa Bliss & Mickie James are the other two entrants along with Bayley for the Women’s MITB match. The heels team up on Bayley early. James is the first one to turn. That gives Bayley the opening she needs. James breaks up a Power Bomb Sunset Flip. Bliss clocks James after Bayley ducks. They argue. Bayley gets another opening. Bayley to Belly gets a two count because Mickie pulls Bayley out of DDT for the win.the ring. James & Bayley trade blows on the outside. Bayley gets in the last good shot. Bliss gives Bayley a big right hand as she gets back into the ring. DDT for the win by Bliss.

Mahal starts hobbling to the ring when Reigns Spears him through a wall that doesn’t have studs.

Finn Balor & Braun Strowman come to the ring for their match with Ziggler & McIntyre. Ziggler & Balor start the match but McIntyre & Strowman have been staring daggers at each other. McIntyre tags in Ziggler. Balor is back in the match because a match with Strowman wouldn’t be long enough. Ziggler gives Balor a neck breaker to keep Strowman out of the match. Strowman gets a hot tag against Ziggler who bumps like crazy. Strowman charges, but Ziggler dodges. Balor tags back in. Balor with Sling Blade on Ziggler. Drop kick into the corner. Strowman plows over McIntyre outside. Balor is distracted. Ziggler knocks him off the top ropes and gets the pin.

Kurt Angle is perplexed as to why Stephanie is giving Owens another chance. He replaces the injured Mahal. Bobby Lashley & Elias are the other participants in the match. Because his performance was interrupted by Owens at the start, Elias does it during the match. Jumping Knee by Elias on Owens. Lashley breaks up the pin. Owens misses the Cannon Ball. Elias drops a big elbow on Owens. Lashley stops the pin. Owens & Elias try to double team Lashley but it back fires. Owens gets the boot up on Lashley then Elias. Lashley keeps on breaking up pins. Lashley hits the Dominator on Elias. Sami Zayn makes the save. Helluva Kick on Lashley. Owens Frog Splashes Elias for the win. – Kevin DiFrango
