According to Prowrestling.net, our favorite punching bag Kurt Angle announced via Twitter that he’ll return to TNA at the next set of iMPACT! tapings.

“I start back next Thursday on TNA Impact”

I can hardly contain my excitement. He threatened (well, his character threatened) when he left a month ago that, upon his return, he’d focus on winning the TNA World Title. I guess with Jeff Hardy tied up in legal battles and only Desmond Wolfe really being over with the fans as far as top 10 rankings, Rob Van Dam might need a new challenger. And that man should be Sting, while Kurt Angle wrestles Rob Terry 🙂  Wocka wocka wocka! Bait and switch!

Angle also mentioned a movie he’s wrapping up called “Beyond the Mat,” not to be confused with the I-can-already-say-with-certainty-it’s-superior documentary directed by Barry Blaustein and featuring Mick Foley and Terry Funk (a screening of which will be held at the Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum in Waterloo, Iowa, on July 10). Nope, this is a scripted movie about high school wrestling and something something something hey what’s up with that stripper you’re engaged to? Is she still hot? -Eric
