Sami Zayn comes out and admits defeat. He isn’t bummed about what happened. It hasn’t changed his goal either. The one thing gnawing at him is he won’t have anything to do Wrestlemania weekend. William Regal comes out and rewards him for his hard work with a match against Shinsuke Nakamura. He gets a short video that’s supposed to be grainy. It just looks and sounds bad. But who cares, like Corey Graves said “I’m stoked for this match.”

The Hype BrosMojo Rawley & Zack Ryder vs Kenneth Crawford & Angelo Dawkins – This match was the definition of a squash match. Hype Ryder for the win.

Deonna Purrazzo vs Emma w/ Dana Brooke – Even Corey Graves agrees that Emma & Dana are delusional. So the story of the match followed Emma trying to get some credibility. She won by tap out with the Emma Lock. I was interested in this match simply because I could have seen this match going to Purrazzo who has gotten plenty of time on mic recently and held her own.

Tomasso Ciampa vs Jesse Sorensen – Sorensen put up enough of a fight to not look like a complete chump but he still lost quickly. Ciampa played a similar role on ROH as the “Sicilian Psycho” so if he gets to use that, I think he’ll continue to get time in NXT. Ciampa won the Bridging Arm Bar.

Nia Jax & Eva Marie vs Bayley & Asuka – This match did a good job of keeping everyone in balance of character. Eva Marie of course caught the beating for the heels since no one should beat Nia Jax except when necessary. She made a mistake and splashed Eva Marie. Asuka kicked her when she staggered getting up. A Bayley To Belly got the victory. William Regal’s music hits for the second time tonight. He made a match between Asuka and Bayley for the Women’s NXT Title at NXT: Dallas.

Austin Aries delivers an Austin Aries promo. He talked about how he earned his dues over a decade and a half. Aries said that Baron Corbin was handed a contract because of his size. Aries knows what he needs to do to get revenge.

American Alpha (Dan Gable & Jason Jordan) vs The Vaud-Villians (Aiden English & Simon Gotch) – The Roll Through German Suplex by Gable near the end of the match is yet another move from a guy that I think is immensely talented. The formula for Alpha matches is have Gable show off his ridiculous talent then hot tag in Jason Jordan, who also is immensely talented and large. Gable gets tagged back in to finish the opponent with the Super Side Suplex with Bridge for the win. Very effective formula. The Vaud-Villians gave them a run for their money more than any other team so they still seem to be regarded highly which is a good thing. They held up their end of the bargain in this match. – Kevin
