Kevin Nash Sees His Shadow

Blah blah insider reference! Blah blah put myself over at the expense of the young guys!

Just as Punxsutawney Phil seeing his shadow means six more weeks of winter, Kevin Nash seeing his shadow means one more year of bad wrestling in TNA. According to the good folks at prowrestling.net, Nash just signed a one year contract extension with the company that provides Total Nonstop Action, just as he did a year ago, around the time of the Bound for Glory PPV.

This is surprising to me on a couple levels. First, TNA actually looked like they were going to do some things right for a change and start concentrating on the young guys like Hernandez and Matt Morgan, who actually deserve a strong push with the company. Instead, it looks like it’s going to be another year of business as usual for a company that clearly doesn’t care about its fans, and doesn’t care about making money and running a sound business.

It’s also surprising that Nash wouldn’t jump at the chance to go back to WWE, where he could jackoff every Monday night with his DX buddies Shawn Michaels and Triple H, and further help ruin the wrestling business in that way. Boy, Nash is a hoot, isn’t he? Remember the time he called Kevin Sullivan a “little Napoleon,” as if to suggest that the real Napoleon himself wasn’t tiny? Remember when he said “play” was an adjective? This guy is a rocket surgeon, I tells ya! – Dusty

He’ll be putting over all the young guys as their mentor, worked for the Natural Born Thrillers. They’re all big stars now…wait, they’re not.
